Helping Seniors Founder/President Joe Steckler has always been at the forefront in terms of advocating for SENIORS. Retiring from his career in the U.S. Navy as Commander of the Navy’s Retirement Home in Gulfport MS, Joe is known throughout the Space Coast of Florida as the driving force behind the establishment of the Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation. Not content to stop there, Joe formed Helping Seniors of Brevard in 2011 to serve the 50% over 50 who live in Brevard County.
We invite you to be part of Joe’s newest program, the Helping Seniors $100 Club – our goal is partner with 1000 like-minded individuals in Brevard County who agree that SENIORS deserve our help. Annual Membership in the Helping Seniors $100 Club is defined through your commitment of a $100 donation to Helping Seniors of Brevard to support the work of Helping Seniors . In return, we’ll make sure you on our mailing list and kept up-to-date on all of our activities – from our SENIOR INFORMATION & REFERRAL SERVICE, to our SENIOR COMMUNICATION NETWORK of informational media programs throughout our area, to our SENIOR ADVOCACY efforts to help SENIORS age with dignity.
