Dr. James Brodnan, the Medical Director of Wuesthoff Hospice program, explains the nuances and usefulness of their Hospice and Palliative Care programs and how they can assist Seniors and families in a discussion with Program Host Joe Steckler. Hospice care is for individuals who have a life expectancy of less than six months.
Hospice care is sensitive and responsive to the special requirements of each individual. The hospice care team includes doctors, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplains and dedicated volunteers who work together to meet the needs of patients and families.
