It provides crucial legal aid services to vulnerable residents across the state to protect them from eviction. \nThe Project will provide: \n\nEducation and outreach to tenants at imminent risk of eviction;\n\n\nAccess to improved technology to help prevent future barriers to renting;\n\n\nAssistance to tenants to avoid or reduce the negative impacts of a potential eviction\, such as referrals to other service providers like Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) administrators\, as well as comprehensive legal services in other areas;\n\n\nCollaboration with courts\, judges\, and other parties to create and promote eviction diversion programs; and\n\n\nLegal representation in relation to legal filings and court proceedings\, including negotiation\, mediation\, or arbitration\, and the provision of limited representation and counsel and advice\, as well as assistance filing fair housing complaints related to eviction.\n\n\n  \nPresented by: \n \n
