SUMMARY:Senior Tech Talk
DESCRIPTION:  \nIntroducing Senior Tech Talk : Helping Seniors Feel Confident with Technology \nIn today’s fast-paced digitally driven world\, it can be easy to feel left behind – especially for seniors trying to keep up with the newest smartphones\, apps\, and online services. As more aspects of daily life shift to a digital format\, the ability to navigate technology safely and efficiently is no longer optional – it is essential. \nTo help support seniors in building confidence with everyday technology\, we are thrilled to announce a new community outreach program: Senior Tech Talk. The program is designed to provide practical\, easy-to-follow guidance on everyday technology as well as offer the opportunity for individual questions and assistance. \nSenior Tech Talk will be led by local community advocate and “elder millennial”\, Brianna Prentice. As a longtime supporter of senior-focused causes\, Brianna has always been passionate about making technology more accessible and less intimidating for everyone. Her experience of having grown up during the transition from analog to digital will bring a unique insight to the program. \nThe program will cover a wide variety of topics\, including texting\, emailing\, photo sharing\, video calls\, social media\, and much more! More details about the program will be announced soon. We are so excited to provide this opportunity for our community and look forward to seeing you at one of our events! \n  \n\n  \n \nBrianna “Bri” Prentice\nSenior Tech Talk Coordinator & Speaker \nBrianna Prentice is a proud mom of two boys\, a licensed property and auto insurance agent\, and a lifelong advocate for community connection. As the program coordinator and lead speaker of Senior Tech Talks—launched in partnership with Helping Seniors of Brevard — Bri combines her professional experience and personal passion to help older adults feel more confident navigating today’s technology. \nWhether it’s learning to video call with family\, manage smartphone settings\, or stay safe online\, Bri brings patience\, compassion\, and a sense of fun to every session. Helping seniors feel empowered with technology has always been close to her heart. \nIn addition to her work with Senior Tech Talks\, Bri is the social media coordinator for and volunteers with the Brevard Pixie Pin Ups\, a charitable organization that raises funds and awareness for causes throughout the Brevard community. \nThrough every role she plays—whether it’s mom\, mentor\, or community builder—Bri is driven by a deep belief that everyone deserves to feel seen\, supported\, and connected. \n

SUMMARY:KCA: Home Care Considerations
DESCRIPTION:  \nRSVP Knowledge College \n  \n\n  \nHelping Seniors\nKnowledge College for Aging! \nAugust 2025\nYour Aging Plan:\nSenior Home Care Considerations\n \nThe Aging Plan Series\nPresented by Helping Seniors \nHelping Seniors Knowledge College for Aging! \nAugust 2025 – Senior Home Care Considerations \nThe Aging Plan Series presented by Helping Seniors \nA key component of your Aging Plan—what we call “Getting Your Ducks in a Row”—is making the optimal choice for Senior Living. \nAs we get older\, there may come a time when a little extra help at home makes all the difference. Sometimes it’s just a friendly hand with household tasks—what’s often called Home Help or Companion Care. Other times\, it might mean more personal assistance\, like help with showering and other Activities of Daily Living. And in some cases\, Skilled Care or Home Health services are needed to meet medical needs. \nIn this friendly\, informative conversation\, we’ll talk about the different levels of in-home care\, what each includes\, and what is—and isn’t—covered by Medicare\, Medicaid\, and VA Aid & Attendance benefits. \nCarlos Cuesta\, CDP\, Owner of Synergy HomeCare of Melbourne and Palm Bay\, combines his impressive home care expertise with over 35 years in Human Resources to share how you can create a Senior Home Care plan that works—whether for today or for the future. \nHere in Florida\, we all know the importance of having a Hurricane Plan—not because we want a storm\, but because we want to be prepared. An Aging Plan follows the same principle. It doesn’t mean expecting problems—it means being ready for whatever comes your way. \nBe proactive. Be prepared. Join us in creating a smart Aging Plan\, tailored to your needs. \n📞 RSVP today at (321) 473-7770 \nPresented by Helping Seniors of Brevard\nSenior Resource Center of Brevard\n📍 1344 S Apollo Dr\, Ste 2C\, Melbourne\, FL 32901 \n  \nRSVP Knowledge College \n  \n\n  \nGet ahead of the curve and “Get Your Ducks in a Row” as we work together on your Aging Plan! \nPresented by Helping Seniors of Brevard.  RSVP today at (321) 473-7770. \n  \n\n  \nHelping Seniors\nSenior Resource Center of Brevard\n1344 S Apollo Dr – Ste 2C\nMelbourne FL 32901 \nCLICK HERE for Directions to\nSENIOR RESOURCE CENTER \n
