For Golden Providers – this inaugural class is a full-day intensive on excelling in service to Seniors. The curriculum of the one-day course includes:

I. The Heart of a Golden Provider and Code of Ethics
II. Understanding Aging 101
III. Communication
IV. Safety in Daily Life (includes general safety, personal safety & digital safety)
V. Customer Service
Identifying & Reporting Abuse – Financial, Neglect & Exploitation
VII. Understanding Memory Loss & Dementia
VIII. Summary & Review

Those who successfully complete the requirements of the course on this day earn the designation “Golden Providers Certified” – which includes a special “Inaugural Class” Certificate and Golden Providers Certified Lapel Pin. The designation affords a 2-year Certification and then maybe renewed with Continued Education Training. Fee for the Course – including materials and Certificate/Pin – is $150.
