Kerry Fink has served as Helping Seniors Media Director since the organization’s inception, and now serves as the organization’s Executive Director, for the not-for-profit Helping Seniors of Brevard operating on the Space Coast of Florida.
Kerry is Multi-Media Marketing expert and experienced business manager with 40+ years experience. Kerry has an extensive background working with development and marketing of Christian Movies. Television and Radio, as well as expertise in the Senior Marketplace.
Kerry revitalized the senior focused Music of Your Life® Radio Network, now with more than 40 years of continuous syndication, by putting together a team of celebrity talents, including TV’s Wink Martindale, Peter Marshall and Gary Owens. He grew the NYC & LA based 24/7 Radio Network, focused on Adults 50+, to 200 stations reaching 2,000,000 people weekly over-the-air. He has nearly four decades of experience in Radio Broadcast includes Network Radio and Radio Station ownership and management.
Kerry has extensive experience in online digital media, including social media development, and has been involved in development of hundreds of websites and digital media campaigns including for organizations such as Helping Seniors of Brevard; Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary; and for Great Music at Sea programs for U.K.-based Fred. Olsen Cruise Line.
Kerry is also very experienced with event and group management – including development of Theme Travel Programs for major cruise lines (Fred. Olsen Cruises, NCL, MSC, Costa, etc.) and travel providers (SuperClubs, Club ABC, etc.). Kerry’s background in marketing also includes development of specialty programming (airline audio with Delta, Northwest, etc); and has created branded Music of Your Life® retail music product (distributed via Wal-Mart, QVC, etc.).
Kerry has studied the Mature Market for 40+ years, authoring “How to Get Your Unfair Share of a $3.6 trillion Market”, as well being as invited to give 50+ Marketing Seminars for the Radio Advertising Bureau Sales Training Conferences, American Society on Aging annual conferences, and at Business Forum on Aging meetings, among others. Kerry has served on the Board of the Business Forum on Aging and consulted with Reader’s Digest, during their publication of the New Choices 50+ magazine product, as well as with both Reader’s Digest and the Smithsonian, regarding their 50+ music divisions, and with Wall Street Journal, Talk America and USA Radio Networks regarding their 50+ marketing efforts.
Locally, he has been active with organizations include Golden Providers, Knowledge College for Aging, and the Space Coast Prayer Breakfast, in addition to his volunteer work with the Helping Seniors of Brevard organization. He sits on Brevard County’s Brevard Commission on Aging. Kerry is excited about the opportunity of serving in the role of Executive Director as the organization expands on its efforts to use media effectively in our area to ensure that Seniors have access to information of value that improves the quality of life for the 50% of Brevard County population over 50.
