Helping Seniors Knowledge College for Aging!

The Aging Plan Series presented by Helping Seniors

A key component of your Aging Plan—what we call “Getting Your Ducks in a Row”— is knowing what key components should be in it and how to bring it all together.

Here in Florida, we all know the importance of having a Hurricane Plan—not because we want a storm, but because we want to be prepared. An Aging Plan follows the same principle. It doesn’t mean expecting problems—it means being ready for whatever comes your way.

Through our Knowledge College for Aging series, you’ll learn how to build your own Aging Plan—your personal roadmap for “Getting Your Ducks in a Row.”

Be proactive. Be prepared. Join us in creating a smart Aging Plan, tailored to your needs.

    Wellness: Keeping Your Home Safe

April 2026 – Keeping Your Home Safe

As we get older, our needs can change - and it should cause to think about ways that we can keep our home safe as we go along. Some home modifications may be necessary and helpful to ensure our safety. Sometimes, they are mandatory to being able to stay safe at home - ramps, help with staircases, and more.

Let's learn with Jamie & Amy Powell, of Next Day Acess - a company that builds safer lives through Seniors. Jamie's expertise is in problem solving and engineering efficiencies and Amy's background as a Registered Nurse makes them an effective resource to help us evaluate and consider things to make our homes safer.
