of the “Hillside Singers”
Lorri Hafer, Jazz/Big Band Singer, who toured the world with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and Les Brown’s Band of Renown, was one of the lead singers in the “Hillside Singers” – known for their worldwide hit “Coca-Cola” song “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.” That popular tune reached #13 on the Hot 100 chart and #5 on the Adult Contemporary charts in 1971. Together with her husband, keyboardist extraordinaire Mike Hafer, they bring listening/dancing musical enjoyment to our group on the 7-night January Helping Seniors sailing on MSC Meraviglia.
