Wellness: End Alzheimer's Talk August 2026 – Talk "Space Coast Walk to End Alzheimer's" We are pleased to welcome Mindy Nadeau, who is the Manager for Walk to End Alzheimer's - Volusia & Space Coast with the Alzheimer's Association (Central & North Florida Chapter). She'll share statistics on Alzheimer's in Florida, resources available to those affected by memory disorders, as well as information on the groundbreaking research that the Alzheimer's Association is conducting. She'll also share information on the September 26th, 2025 Space Coast Walk to End Alzheimer's that happens 7am-11am at the Cocoa Riverfront Park - 401 Riveredge Blvd - Cocoa! Wellness: "Falls" Awareness September 2026 – Wellness Talk: "Falls" Awareness for "Falls Awareness Month" Falls Awareness: Staying Safe, Strong & Independent Falls are one of the greatest threats to independence as we age—but many falls can be prevented! Join us for an informative and practical conversation led by Peter Rentz, Physical Therapist, who will share important tips for improving balance, reducing fall risks, and staying safely active. Helping Seniors Wellness Series Events
The Helping Seniors Education Series provides information and services for today’s Seniors (and those who love & care for them!) at convenient central locations in Brevard County.
Our Helping Seniors Wellness Series is presented by Helping Seniors, CarePlus Health Plans, and Omni Healthcare and happens on 4th Thursday of each month at Joe’s Senior Resource Center of Brevard located in the Omni Healthcare Professional Tower, Melbourne FL, at 1344 S Apollo Dr on the 2nd Floor.
Great opportunity to meet Medical and Wellness professionals as well as your Brevard Healthcare Team as you learn about local Senior Care Resources and enjoy Fun, Games, Info and Refreshments. Join us for this session with your friends from Omni Healthcare and the Helping Seniors “Senior Resource of Brevard.”
