Let’s meet up with Lt. Joe Downs, with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, and some of his great colleagues for a great morning conversation. Joe, with nearly 4 decades of experience in law enforcement, shares on his particular passion for all things Helping Seniors. Joe will share on the Project Lifesaver program, a rapid-response search-and-rescue program designed to protect individuals with cognitive conditions—such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, and autism—who are prone to wandering.
Joe has been a long-time friend of Seniors and his expertise is often called upon by many in the law enforcement community when it comes to finding the right way to address challenges that Seniors may run into along the way. He joins us at the Helping Seniors Resource Center for a morning table-top discussion.
