Chef Jillian Zebris, of Chefs for Seniors Melbourne, has assembled a group of Top Chefs to present a cornucopia of flavors through 6 very special Tastings (paired with 6 very special Teas) and all honoring the six automotive “Choose Your Adventure” themes embodies in the 8th Annual Helping Seniors Car Raffle offerings.
About Chef Jillian – Being an Ohio native, Chef Jillian takes a midwest farm-to-table approach to food. Driven by her love of food, she attended Le Cordon Bleu and became a certified pastry chef. She worked at Disney’s EPCOT Food and Wine Festival where she was recognized for her hard work, leadership skills and health and safety compliance. Jillian loves serving the senior community in Brevard County as a Chefs For Seniors franchise owner.
Chef Jillian shares the spotlight with some Amazing Chefs and their incredible culinary masterpieces. Check out these amazing sampling:
Station #1 – For the Exploring Adventure!
• Bison Sliders with Roasted Tomato Chutney • Paired with Oolong Mint Tea – Explore this splash of botanical refreshment paired with the deep delicious flavors of adventure from Chef Riley!
Station #2 – For the Hauling Adventure!
• Slow Roasted Pulled Pork and Chipotle Slaw on a Crisp Wonton Flat. • Paired with Watermelon Iced Tea – A hefty flavor in a delicious bite of harmony for that great outdoors flavor – prepared by local Chef Riley!
Station #3 – For the Stylish Adventure!
For the Stylish Adventure! • Hand Rolled Vegetable Sushi Roll • Paired with Acai Lemongrass Tea – With a twist on tradition, Chef Colin is presenting a Vegetable Sushi Roll filled with cucumber, carrots and avocado with a tangy Japanese mayo drizzle, paired with an Acai Lemongrass Tea for a bright and refreshing flavor.
Station #4 – For the Upscale Adventure!
• Bulgogi. • Paired with Bamboo Tea – Stir-fried, Korean style barbecue glazed beef served over fluffy white rice and garnished with fresh, crisp scallions paired with an earthy bamboo tea for a well rounded tasting experience.
Station #5 – For the Racing Adventure!
• BBQ bacon with Chicken & Waffle Bite • Paired with Mango Black Iced Tea – Always a fan favorite, BBQ spiced Candied Bacon with our twist on chicken and waffles is paired with mango black tea to help gear up your tastebuds!
Station #6 – For the Elegant Adventure!
• Okonomiyaki Fried Cabbage Pancake • Paired with Japan Matcha Ice Cream – Elegance on a plate, Okonomiyaki fried cabbage pancake paired with vegan matcha ice cream with Butterfly Pea Flowers create a “beautiful deep symphony of flavor and color” as quoted by Chef Jillian.
