TheFlorida Legal Aid (FLA) Eviction Prevention Projectis a HUD initiative. It provides crucial legal aid services to vulnerable residents across the state to protect them from eviction.
The Project will provide:
Education and outreachto tenants at imminent risk of eviction;
Access toimproved technologyto help prevent future barriers to renting;

Florida Legal Aid Eviction Prevention Project
TheFlorida Legal Aid (FLA) Eviction Prevention Projectis a HUD initiative. It provides crucial legal aid services to vulnerable residents across the state to protect them from eviction.
The Project will provide:
Education and outreachto tenants at imminent risk of eviction;
Access toimproved technologyto help prevent future barriers to renting;
Assistance to tenants toavoid or reduce the negative impacts of a potential eviction, such as referrals to other service providers likeEmergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)administrators, as well as comprehensive legal services in other areas;
Collaboration with courts, judges, and other parties to create and promoteeviction diversion programs; and
Legal representationin relation to legal filings and court proceedings, including negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, and the provision of limited representation and counsel and advice, as well as assistance filing fair housing complaints related to eviction.

TheFlorida Legal Aid (FLA) Eviction Prevention Projectis a HUD initiative. It provides crucial legal aid services to vulnerable residents across the state to protect them from eviction.
The Project will provide:
Education and outreachto tenants at imminent risk of eviction;
Access toimproved technologyto help prevent future barriers to renting;
Assistance to tenants toavoid or reduce the negative impacts of a potential eviction, such as referrals to other service providers likeEmergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)administrators, as well as comprehensive legal services in other areas;
Collaboration with courts, judges, and other parties to create and promoteeviction diversion programs; and
Legal representationin relation to legal filings and court proceedings, including negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, and the provision of limited representation and counsel and advice, as well as assistance filing fair housing complaints related to eviction.
