Join us for this session with your friends from Omni Healthcare, CarePlus Health Plans, and the Helping Seniors “Senior Resource of Brevard.”
Agenda:
1100am – Check-In, Enjoy Healthy Snacks and a complimentary Hot or Cold Beverage and visit our Senior Resource Center Partner Tables for great information and resources to help you navigate Senior years well.
1115am – Special Presentation – “Living Healthy to 100” – Educational Programming Presented by CarePlus Health Plans – Helping us learn how to stay happy and healthy as we add years!
1135am – Special Presentation – “No (Broken!) Bones About It!” – Jital Patel, an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Falls Prevention Specialist (CFPS), with 10 years of healthcare experience, and the owner and Clinical Director of Coastal Occupational Therapy, understands the complex and dynamic interactions between people, their environments, and the activities they need to accomplish in their daily lives. She recognizes that the path to a person’s health and well-being is intricately linked to participating in daily occupations and will be speaking about steps towards staying safe from falls and, as Coastal Occupational Therapy likes to say, to safely #KeepMoving!
1155am – We take a “Healthy Break!” Let’s take a few minutes to enjoy some Healthy Snacks and a complimentary Hot or Cold Beverage.
1210pm – Special Interactive Session – Free Fall and Balance Assessments with the clinical team from Coastal Occupational Therapy.
1230pm – Presentations Conclude and Door Prizes are announced.
