Join us for this session with your friends from Omni Healthcare, CarePlus Health Plans, and the Helping Seniors “Senior Resource of Brevard.”
Agenda:
1100am – Check-In, Enjoy Healthy New Year Snacks and a complimentary Hot or Cold Beverage and visit our Senior Resource Center Partner Tables for great information and resources to help you navigate Senior years well.
1115am – Special Presentation – “Making a Healthy Change” – Educational Programming Presented by CarePlus Health Plans – Helping us learn how to stay happy and healthy into the New Year as we look at our daily diet!
1135am – Special Presentation – “Advances in Memory Care” – Deidra Shubert, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Education and Outreach Director at Merritt Island Medical Research. Deidra was also Director Of Education And Outreach at Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation and her experience also includes work with the Alzheimer’s Association®.
1155am – We take a “Healthy Break!” Let’s take a few minutes to enjoy some Healthy Snacks and a complimentary Hot or Cold Beverage.
1210pm – Special Interactive Session – Dementia Live – The interactive Dementia Live program gives participants (and those who observe) an interactive experience simulation to heighten understanding, deepen empathy and elevate care for those on a Dementia journey.
1230pm – Presentations Conclude and Door Prizes are announced.
