Joe Steckler talks about the plight of the Hungry and the Homeless – particularly the elderly – in Brevard County. His guests are John Farrell, Executive Director of Daily Bread, and Rob Cramp, Executive Director of Housing for Homeless.
Daily Bread is dedicated to improving the dignity and quality of life of the hungry and the needy. Their Vision is to ensure that no one goes hungry, no food is wasted in our community, and no one is denied the opportunity or the assistance they need to become self-sufficient.
Housing for Homeless programs for the homeless give back to the community in many ways – by helping individuals and families attain and maintain a productive life; by providing disadvantaged children with the opportunity to grow and learn in a stable, nourishing environment; by providing housing for the elderly, mentally and physically disabled who would otherwise have nowhere to go; and by rehabilitation of neighborhood slums into attractive, affordable homes.
