Joe Steckler, and Helping Seniors Information Specialist Kay Keyser, talk about the Senior Advocacy efforts of Helping Seniors of Brevard for 2015, including the organization of the Senior Advocacy Council of citizen volunteers who are helping craft a proposed aging plan for Brevard County.
The Senior Advocacy effort of Helping Seniors began in early 2015 as the all volunteer council began monthly meetings to assist in the development of an aging plan for Brevard County. The group launched a Senior Needs Survey, as published in Senior Scene Magazine and on the Helping Seniors website as well.
